FullCircle consists of a launch application on a mobile device and a web portal from which the member registers and loads profile particulars (profile details, pictures, visibility settings, etc.) and identifies the personal segmentation and group affiliations desired. The widget on the mobile device is nothing more than a web browser launcher which incorporates location data. It has no other functionality and does not require carrier approval or certification.
After registering and downloading the FullCircle application to their mobile device, the FullCircle member has the ability to access a list of other registered FullCircle members or businesses in order of closest to furthest and filtered with parameters set in advance. What differentiates FullCircle is its ability to identify and communicate with nearby individuals based upon preset preferences. Members have the ability to limit access to buddies or friends and can regulate the level of identity they wish to reveal to another communicating member, be it general descriptions or more detailed profiles and pictures.
Upon launching FullCircle, the application will populate a list of pre-selected FullCircle member icons that have been identified as "positioned" closest to furthest. The list appears very much like a buddy list on Instant Messenger. By selecting and "opening" one of the member icons, the user will be able to see additional information on the member to the extent visibility access is granted (profile, pictures, video, etc.). The user can then reach out and communicate with the member (text or voice) if permitted by that member.
